The UK Sight Loss Council's #CutItBack campaign is encouraging people to trim back shrubs, hedges and trees that overhang pavements. Most people don't realise that people using white canes need to follow walls and edges to help them navigate their local streets and that walking into overhanging branches can be a real shock! Spread the word to your family, friends and neighbours especially at this time of year when everything in the garden is growing so fast!
